HOW IS THE VIDEO TRANSLATION PROCESS GOING?
The first step in translating a video is usually transcribing it in the original language. The translator must then add precise time stamps to the transcription before translating it into the desired language. After translation, the translator may need to embed subtitles in the video file, depending on the output format the client requires.
Transcription means – to record everything that is said in the video. The transcription includes notes on who is speaking and any other significant sounds used during the video.
Time synchronization is the process that the translator uses to indicate at what time in the video each thing happens. This allows precise application of subtitles.
The video can be translated both by its transcription and directly from the video file. When translated, the words spoken in the original video will be translated into the desired language.
Subtitles include recording what is being said in a video in a different language so that viewers of other nationalities can follow what is happening in the video. Subtitles are usually a slightly abbreviated form of what is said so that the viewer can read them and still keep up with the video.
